How did you guys meet?
We met 15 years ago whilst working together at our local Golf Club.
Who popped the big question & how?
It’s sounds terribly unromantic but we mutually decided that after all this time and two beautiful children that now was a good time to tie the knot. I was desperate to have the same surname as the kids before our oldest started school.
What made you decide on your venue?
We only wanted a small wedding and when we saw Morden Park house- we couldn’t believe how pretty it was for a registry office. The room we got married in had been recently redecorated and it was very shabby chic which I love!!!
How long did it take you to find the perfect dress?
I went to one wedding dress shop and it was the 2nd dress I tried on. I wasn’t quite what I wanted but I found a fantastic dress maker who added the lace cap sleeves that I had always imagined.
What was your favourite part of your wedding day?
We just loved the whole day. I couldn’t pick a favourite part. I think when you have waited this long to get married you just enjoy every minute.
If you could give one piece of advice to future bride & grooms, what would it be?
Don’t stress about any of it on the day. Just enjoy it as it’s only one day and you don’t get to do it again. You don’t want to look back and think that you wish had relaxed more.
Finally, I would love if you could give me some feedback about the service I have provided you?
Charlene, you were so lovely and friendly. You guided us through to get the best shots and have been professional from the start. I would recommend you to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. The shots look so natural and exactly what we wanted. Thank you so much again.
Amy and Shane got married at the beautiful Morden Park House in Merton, South London. The Georgian manor house was restored in 2000 and boasts many period features with a great outdoor space. The Sheridan room is bright airy and elegant and is great for those intimate ceremonies.
Amy wore a stunning fitted lace gown which looked amazing teamed with the flowers styled in her hair. Sometimes I get carried away with the couple shots, I could literally shoot all day, but these guys were great! We had enough time to take advantage of all the beautiful places around the manor. Check out the new brochure for Morden Park House, some of Amy and Shane pictures are featured! Check out some of the highlights of Amy and Shane's wedding at Morden Park House below.
