When we look back not the year 2020 we will remember the pandemic that rocked the world. Causing lockdown in most countries and forcing us in to a different way of living. Although its had its hard times, we will remember our community coming together not only to help each other out, but to acknowledge the hard work of our hero's- NHS and other key workers.
Now stepping out of lockdown, businesses have had to adapt and change the way they work. I would usually be welcoming new parents in to the studio for their newborn sessions, getting cakes ready to be smashed at baby's first birthday sessions and photographing the journeys of mothers to be. Due to Covid-19 this has had to change. I have had to adapt and it's been tough, as I imagine it is for every business in this uncertain time.
Thankfully I have had the weather on my side this Summer and I have been able to carry out sessions outside in beautiful settings. Being a hands on newborn photographer I'm used to handling baby during the session, but due to the safety of my clients I haven't had any contact. It's challenging as any photographer would understand, but change is also needed. Our world is always changing and being able to adapt is one of the best bits about growth.
Covid-19 has allowed me to learn new things and conquer existing fears. We will remember the time the world stood still.
Here is a just a few pictures of a beautiful family in one of my outdoor newborn sessions.
