Hi, I’m Charlene, a family photographer in Kent, and I love capturing each family’s story. With over 16 years of experience photographing portraits, bumps, newborns and families, I offer relaxed, natural sessions in the comfort of your own home or outdoors.

It’s a relaxed way to capture natural family photographs while enjoying time together outdoors.
Whether you’re after the greenery of Mote Park in Maidstone, the boats along the River Medway or the historic surroundings of Chatham Dockyard, Kent has so many beautiful backdrops for your family photoshoot.
I especially love spring family photography sessions among the bluebells at Trosley Country Park in Vigo. The sunshine peeking through the trees, birds singing and your children walking together along a path lined with bluebells. What more could you want?
NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOME
Those first few weeks of your newborn journey are magical, tiring and a complete adjustment. Parenthood isn’t easy, I know from experience. As a newborn photographer in Kent, let me make those early days a little easier by photographing you and your baby in your own home, capturing all those tiny details, from their little fingers and toes to the fine hairs on their ears.
Nothing has to be perfect, just you as you are. Feeding your baby, cuddling them or tucking them into their Moses basket. Even siblings cooing over their new baby brother or sister. Just natural, unposed moments that capture those early days and preserve your newborn bubble for years to come.

To keep things simple, I offer one standard portrait photography package for both outdoor and at-home sessions. This can be tailored to suit maternity, newborn, family and children’s photography.

Complimentary travel is included within a 45-minute radius of ME15, covering locations such as Maidstone, Rochester, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and some villages across Medway. Locations beyond this area may incur an additional travel fee.

MINI PHOTO SHOOTS
Throughout the year, I offer mini photo sessions at selected locations. In spring, I offer bluebell sessions, followed by beach and woodland sessions in summer and autumnal sessions later in the year.

Each session lasts 20 minutes, with a limited number of slots available. You will receive all the images from your session, with prices ranging from £100 to £150.

Q. What if we don't have a lot of space at home?
As long as you have enough space for me and a camera I can work anywhere. If you do prefer more of a lifestyle setting but definitely don't want to do it at home, then I can suggest some great lifestyle studios nearby.

Q. Where can we have a family photo shoot in Kent?
I've literally photographed in every setting you can think of. From a beach session at Whitstable or Botany Bay, woodlands at Jeskyns Park in Gravesend to a traditional garden park at Hall Place. Nowhere is out of bounds. If there is a certain place that's special to you then I'm happy to travel there
Q. How far would you travel?
I would travel up to 90 minutes from ME15 for photoshoots. If you're a little further and would like a session then we can always meet in the middle. Travel is included in the package up to 45 minutes from ME15. Further than this will incur an extra charge.

Q. Do you edit our images?
Yes, your gallery will be fully edited in my signature style you see in my portfolio.

It takes up to two weeks to fully edit your gallery.

โQ. Do you require a deposit?
Yes, to secure your session I require a £50 booking fee. Booking fees are non-refundable.โ
