I've had the pleasure of photographing weddings and elopements across the capital, from the famous flower arch that lines the blue doors of Chelsea Town Hall to the decadent interiors of The Savoy on the north bank of the River Thames. After more than 15 years photographing weddings, and capturing over 50 London city weddings and elopements, I’ve come to know the city beyond the famous Big Ben. The quaint cobbled streets. The red buses passing at just the right moment. The town halls that have become icons in their own right.

From The Natural History Museum to Kew Gardens. London has so many unique wedding venues to choose from. Over the past few years London Town Halls have grown in popularity. They offer the perfect blend of intimacy and affordability while keeping stylish and adding a modern feel to your wedding photography.
One of my personal favourites is the popular Old Marylebone Town Hall. The architecture of the grand building boasts tall pillars out the front. Which makes the perfect backdrop for those all important bride and groom portraits. And when your loved ones are gathered on the stairs waiting to congratulate the new Mr and Mrs, this is my favourite moment from the day. Cars beeping for the newlyweds, confetti flying in the air while people are cheering. This reminds me of why I chose wedding photography. Check out a full Marylebone Town hall wedding here.
Inside is just as stunning as the outside. Having a number of different rooms to say your vows during your ceremony, varying from the Westminster that can hold the most amount of guests to the Soho room which is much more intimate. Each one has its own ornate features which add to their unique atmosphere. Growing up with the big red buses, Borough Market on a Saturday and high rise flats surrounding where I lived. London holds a big part of my heart. Its shaped my character and allowed me to be female London wedding photographer I am today. Walking down brick lane viewing the graffiti art, inspired me and allowed me to express my creativity within my photography.
