As a Hedsor House wedding photographer I've had the pleasure of photographing a number of weddings at this glorious venue. As soon as you drive on to the grounds it has that kind of presence you feel when you know it's going to be the perfect wedding day. Hedsor House is located in the Buckinghamshire countryside, it’s one of those venues where the drive in alone builds anticipation. After driving down a tree lined road, open fields with neighbourly cows feasting on grass, suddenly this grand Georgian mansion stands quietly at the end of it all. I’ve always thought the venue has a really interesting quirks. It’s obviously elegant and quite grand, but it doesn’t feel cold. There’s a warmth to it once you’re inside, especially when the rooms are lined with florals and the tables are decorated according to a specific seating plan.
This editorial, created by Charlotte Wise Education and Lucy Ann Events, leaned fully into that balance, luxury, but not overly polished. Styled, but still feeling like a real wedding could exist inside it.

No hesitation in colour choice, no attempt to soften it. Just bold, sculptural arrangements sitting comfortably inside a very traditional setting. Chloe G H Bridal kept the look really soft and refined. Nothing too heavy, just clean skin, subtle definition and a finish that worked perfectly with the light in the room. The bride wore a dress from Mara Marie Bridal, who is one of my absolute favourite dress designers. The gown felt like it belonged in the space immediately. Elegant without being fussy, with a small neck scarf detail added later on to give that slightly modern edge. The groom and groomsmen were dressed in classic tuxedos by Oliver Brown, which grounded everything nicely. It kept the overall feel balanced, formal, but not overly rigid.
