As a wedding photographer I provide more than traditional wedding photography, I get to know you, blend in with your day, and then preserve each piece of your personal love story. With over 15 years of experience of photographing London weddings and throughout the UK, I remain discreet which allows me to capture the genuine emotions on a wedding day. In between these moments lie the natural parts of the day which I capture as if it were a story. There’s absolutely no pressure for any of my Bride and Grooms, just a little direction at times to produce a gorgeous wedding gallery for you to enjoy for years to come. With more than 50 London weddings photographed, I’ve worked across many Central London and surrounding boroughs including Chelsea, Westminster, Kensington and Greenwich. Each area offers its own distinctive style and atmosphere, while still retaining that iconic London charm that couples love.
With such a wide variety of captivating venues for a photographer, London really does have something for everyone. Having captured weddings at venues including Old Marylebone Town Hall, Syon Park, Kew Gardens, The Savoy and Old Royal Naval College, I understand how to make the most of each location and its unique character.
Over the last five years, intimate celebrations and elopements have become increasingly popular, attracting couples from across the UK who choose London for its historic registry offices, stunning venues and vibrant atmosphere.
Although Kent is where I’m based, I photograph weddings all over London and absolutely love travelling across the UK and beyond. Whether it’s a countryside manor in the Cotswolds, a stylish city celebration in London or a destination wedding, I’m always excited to discover somewhere new.

Hi, I’m Charlene, a wedding photographer based in Kent, covering London and the UK. I’m surrounded by so many stunning venues in both London & Kent, but I do love to capture weddings all over the country, as well as destinations.
I have a real love for capturing candid moments that you will want to cherish for a lifetime. If you're after wedding photos that don't just look beautiful, but feel like you, you're in the right place.
My approach is all about documenting your big day and adding a little editorial flair when needed which shapes your photographs into a beautiful authentic story. I’d describe my photography style as editorial with a relaxed, soulful feel, but what does that actually mean for my Bride and Grooms? Well most of your day is captured naturally from the morning preparations and candid guest moments to the genuine emotions and reactions in between. I won’t have you constantly posing or spending hours away from your guests. There’s no awkward or tacky posing, just a little direction here and there. I call it naturally posed.
When it comes to your couple portraits and a few other important moments throughout the day, I’ll gently direct you to create those classic, artistic images you’ll want hanging on your walls for years to come. I find prompts work best to give you natural reactions so it’s no forced smiles. Just genuine reactions and real connections.
I create photographs that feel like they should be in a magazine, this is where the term editorial comes in to it. Using the best light, backgrounds and composition I create modern art with meaning . That doesn’t mean everything has to look perfect or overly posed, it’s just about capturing your day in a way that feels beautiful, honest, and true to you.

The first thing many of my bride and grooms tell me is "We're not good at posing, but we love your photos!" If that sounds like you, please don't worry that's exactly why my couples choose me. Most of your day will be captured organically, with only a few gently guided moments.
To me, posing isn't about stiff look at me moments or forced smiles, it's about subtle direction that brings out natural, genuine emotions. My approach is relaxed and effortless using simple prompts to create elegant, real, meaningful imagery.

As a photographer capturing weddings in London, I’m lucky enough to work at some of the country’s most iconic venues while also travelling across the UK and abroad.
One of the things I love most about the capital is the variety it has to offer. You can spend the morning wandering through the market streets of Covent Garden and later find yourself in a traditional London pub beside the River Thames. That’s what makes London weddings so special.
London is home to some incredible wedding venues. From the botanical beauty of Kew Gardens and the elegant architecture of the Old Royal Naval College to the relaxed luxury of The Ned, each venue has its own character and charm. I think that’s what makes weddings here feel so personal.
Every venue offers a different side of London. Whether it’s a black-tie celebration in a luxury city hotel, a laid-back pub wedding in one of London’s industrial-style venues, or an intimate registry office ceremony, there’s something to suit every couple.
Being surrounded by the energy of the city constantly inspires my photography. I love the soft evening light as it filters through the buildings, the texture of London’s historic architecture, and the calmness you can find in the city’s beautiful green spaces. It all adds to the relaxed, editorial feel that I’m naturally drawn to when capturing weddings.
