As a Clevedon Hall wedding photographer I was invited by my good friend Camilla, to second for her at a wedding shoot she had organised. The day already felt special, but the moment I stepped inside, it was clear this wasn’t going to be an ordinary setup. As you walk up the path through the small woodland beside the lavender lined drive, you're greeted with the historic manor house sitting at the centre of beautifully landscaped gardens.

The florals were outrageous in the best possible way. Matching the stately interior of Clevedon Hall, every corner was overflowing with layered greenery, soft white blooms, and textures that almost felt alive. Flowers are one of my favourite things from a wedding so capturing the floral masterpiece in the entrance hall were we posed the couple was a dream. When it was time for the table to be decorated, design wrapped around a full garden of flowers, creating this immersive, sculptural space that felt more like stepping into a story than stepping into a wedding venue. It suited Clevedon perfectly, the elegance, the old-world charm, the sense that you’re photographing a little something tucked away from reality.

Working with the couple surrounded by all that floral depth and elegant interiors gave the images a cinematic feel. Soft light, classic styling, and the kind of environment that lets people sink into the moment. Window Bridal Portraits at Clevedon Hall

My favourite part of this venue was the tall windows that lined the staircase. The light coming through them was incredible, and as soon as I saw them, I knew we had to photograph the bride on the ledge. I photographed her both standing and sitting, standing for those more grand, statement portraits and sitting for the more intimate, close up bridal portraits. The whole scene felt so editorial, and the dress and veil complemented the windows perfectly. These are honestly some of my most treasured bridal images from any shoot.
