Wedding Editorial At Euridge Manor Cotswolds
As a wedding photographer, there are certain venues that instantly make you reach for your camera before you’ve even unpacked your bag. Euridge Manor is one of those places. Tucked away in the heart of the Cotswolds, it is easily one of the most breathtaking wedding venues I have ever photographed. From the moment you arrive and catch sight of the famous stone staircase, you quickly realise why so many couples choose to get married here.
I recently had the opportunity to photograph a luxury wedding editorial at Euridge Manor, and it was the perfect chance to showcase everything that makes this venue so special. Known for its romantic architecture, crystal chandelier, countryside views and iconic boathouse, Euridge Manor feels less like a wedding venue and more like stepping into a European fairytale.
As a Euridge Manor wedding photographer, what I love most about this venue is the incredible variety it offers throughout the day. Every corner feels completely different. One moment you’re photographing portraits beside the lake or in the boat, the next you’re standing beneath the grand stone archways or wandering through the gardens surrounded by climbing roses and perfectly kept greenery. It is one of those rare venues where you never feel short of inspiration.
Why Euridge Manor Is One of My Favourite Wedding Venues to Photograph
The beauty of Euridge Manor is that it feels both grand and intimate at the same time. While the architecture is undeniably impressive, the venue never feels overwhelming. Instead, every space feels thoughtfully designed to create an unforgettable experience for couples and their guests.
The famous boathouse is undoubtedly one of the most recognisable features of the venue and always a favourite for portraits. Sitting peacefully on the edge of the lake, it creates some of the most romantic wedding photographs imaginable. Whether couples choose to take a boat across the water or simply enjoy a few quiet moments together by the lakeside, the setting is effortlessly beautiful.
The stone staircase is another standout feature. It’s one of those locations that photographs beautifully from every angle and instantly adds a sense of grandeur to wedding portraits. Combined with the soft Cotswolds stone and surrounding greenery, it creates images that feel timeless and elegant.
Beyond the iconic landmarks, it’s often the smaller details that I love most. Hidden pathways, perfectly framed archways, walled gardens and quiet corners tucked away from guests all provide beautiful opportunities for natural photographs throughout the day. Euridge Manor rewards couples who take a little time to explore it.
Best Wedding Photo Locations at Euridge Manor
One of the reasons I love photographing weddings at Euridge Manor is the sheer variety of backdrops available without ever needing to leave the grounds.
The boathouse is perhaps the most famous location and for good reason. Reflections dancing across the lake, soft stone architecture and surrounding greenery combine to create some of the most romantic images imaginable.
The grand staircase offers a completely different feel. Elegant and dramatic without feeling formal, it provides a stunning setting for couple portraits, bridal portraits and those iconic veil shots.
Throughout the gardens you’ll find beautiful seasonal colour, winding pathways and perfectly maintained landscapes that work beautifully for relaxed, natural portraits. As the light begins to soften later in the day, these areas become some of my favourite places to photograph.
The archways and courtyards scattered throughout the venue are equally beautiful. They create natural framing, add depth to photographs and offer endless opportunities for creating images that feel both editorial and authentic.
Another feature I always find myself photographing is the spectacular crystal chandelier suspended in the cobbled arch. It’s one of the most iconic parts of Euridge Manor and creates such a unique backdrop for portraits. I love how it catches the light throughout the day, adding an extra sense of luxury and drama to photographs while making the venue instantly recognisable.
What I love most about Euridge Manor is that every location feels connected while still offering something completely different. Couples end up with a wedding gallery that feels varied, elegant and full of character.
