As a wedding photographer, there are certain venues that instantly make you reach for your camera before you’ve even unpacked your bag. Euridge Manor is one of those places. Tucked away in the heart of the Cotswolds, it is easily one of the most breathtaking wedding venues I have ever photographed. From the moment you arrive and catch sight of the famous stone staircase, you quickly realise why so many couples choose to get married here.
I recently had the opportunity to photograph a luxury wedding editorial at Euridge Manor, and it was the perfect chance to showcase everything that makes this venue so special. Known for its romantic architecture, crystal chandelier, countryside views and iconic boathouse, Euridge Manor feels less like a wedding venue and more like stepping into a European fairytale.
As a Euridge Manor wedding photographer, I have had the pleasure of photographing a number of shoots and a real wedding so I have a great idea of all the best places for potraits. Having that knowledge is also handy when it comes to know where the light will be at what time. It makes it easier to plan group shots and that all important golden hour, if you're lucky to get it. What I love most about this venue is the incredible variety of backdrops it has to offer. Every corner feels completely different. One moment you’re photographing portraits beside the lake or in the boat, the next you’re photographing the couple beneath the grand stone archways or capturing the guest candids in the gardens surrounded by climbing roses. It is one of those rare venues that always inspired me.
Why Euridge Manor Is One of My Favourite Wedding Venues to Photograph
While the architecture is undeniably impressive, the venue never feels overwhelming. The famous boathouse is one of the most recognisable features of the venue and is always one of my favourite locations for couple portraits. It truly feels like you’re photographing a destination wedding. Choosing to take the boat across the water is a must for my couples, and I always encourage them to do it. I love capturing different angles of the bride and groom in the boat, including from above, which adds to the editorial style I love to create.
The stone staircase is another favourite feature of mine. It’s one of those locations that photographs beautifully from every angle and instantly adds a sense of grandeur to wedding portraits. Combined with the soft Cotswolds stone and surrounding greenery, it creates images that feel timeless and elegant.
Hidden within the gardens is the stone archway with the famous chandelier, one of the backdrops Euridge Manor is known for. I always like to photograph couples here later in the day when the sun is lower, as it can be a little too bright in full sunshine. During the evening, it really comes to life and creates the most beautiful backdrop. I love encouraging my couples to do something natural here, like a spin or a fun walk through the archway, creating moments that feel relaxed and genuine.

Florals and Design Details
Photographing florals by Lottie Rose Designs brought softness and movement to the space, complementing the stone textures and open-air feel of the venue. Natural, romantic arrangements were designed to feel organic and effortless, perfectly suited to a shooting a wedding at Euridge wedding in the Cotswolds. Styling by KCO Events tied everything together, ensuring each scene felt cohesive, intentional, and visually striking.
Bridal Fashion and Accessories
The bridal look was a true highlight of the editorial. I loved photographing the gown from Morgan Davies Bridal. It felt elegant and contemporary, with beautiful structure and movement that photographed effortlessly against the grand backdrop of Euridge Manor. Wedding veils from The Wedding Veil Shop added softness and drama, and were great for dramatic bridal portraits that I loved creating. Jewellery from Nicholls Jewellery brought a refined finishing touch and completed the look. I adored the hair and make-up by Liris Makeup Bag. It enhanced the natural beauty of the look, keeping everything polished yet romantic which was perfect for my style.
Stationery, Cake and Finishing Touches
Stationery by A Paper Love Affair added a personal and elegant layer to the tablescape, blending classic design with a contemporary feel. This part of the shoot is always a favourite of mine as I love to capture details. I find nothing more relaxing then photographing the styling and flat lays. The cake by Sue Hurst Cake Design was a beautiful statement piece, designed to fit seamlessly into the overall aesthetic while adding a touch of understated luxury.
Planning and Coordination
This editorial was flawlessly brought together through expert planning and coordination by Weddings by Holly Rose and Bootique Weddings and Events. Their attention to detail ensured the day flowed effortlessly, allowing me to get the photographs I dreamed of.
